I am no photographer, but I hope you can see what a beautiful day it was on Saturday, when we went to buy a Christmas tree, in Grizedale Forest.

Even this little character wants to welcome you to our beautiful Lakeland, he sat so still just waiting for us to see him and take his picture.  How wonderfully 'Christmassy' of him.

The sun was coming lower in the sky making great long shadows, and the sunset (which I am sorry but I missed with the camera) was on the way.

Now you can see how beautiful it is here, even at this time of year.  Where better to spend some time just after Christmas?  Come for a visit between Christmas & New Year, get some fresh air into your lungs, before heading back home for the New Year.
